Sensational silk satin
It all starts with a muse – in this case internationally-renowned burlesque star Mara de Nudée, with her captivating stage presence and dazzling array of costumes. Inspired by the luxury, exuberance and outerwear-meets-innerwear nature of her showgirl outfits, I’ve created a new couture collection that can be mixed and matched to suit the occasion, and easily styled as both lingerie and eveningwear.
Just for you, here’s a sneak peek of the centerpiece of the upcoming collection: a ruffled babydoll dress – evocative of that lingerie classic, ruffled silk panties – with gentle hidden bust support. Playful yet romantic, it’s a look that will take you seamlessly from cocktail bar to boudoir. The babydoll will be complemented by a coordinating bralette and tiered mini skirt set, but you will have to wait to see that!
Of course, no Divaurae collection is complete without the star of the show: a pair of luxuriously-designed panties. For Mara’s collection, I’ve created a simple yet sensual panty in matching peachy-pink silk satin, with fluted edges to echo the delicate tiers of the dress and mini skirt, and lined with a silk gusset to feel truly wonderful against the body. Wear it underneath for a sweet surprise at the end of the night!
